The Xqueer Records is an independent music label established in 2022. Its central mission is promotion of alternative rock music and related subcultures. The label is supporting music bands that were established in the internet era and that can consequently cope with the challenges of music industry as well as with the rules and circumstances of the modern world. The Xqueer Records label's headquarter is based in small and beautiful European country of Slovenia which is also European Union member state. Label's office, together with the studio, operates from a management facility in the district called »Ditrojt's music village«, one of the biggest music communes in Slovenia, located in the capital city of Ljubljana. Main activities of The Xqueer Records are recording alternative rock music, discovering and promoting alternative music bands and organizing music festivals. The label is run by a music enthusiast Matej Hočevar who has been a huge alternative music lover. He was also a member and songwriter of number of Slovenian alternative bands such as Grrizli Madams, Dickless Tracy, Second Bisexual Murder and Cogito Ergo Sex. In current period he is active in trible accoustic band named MongoS. The Xqueer Records stands for respect, passion and modern free spirit values to alternative music movement.
